When Dogs Talk

A one—act play: Two male dogs discuss their daily happenings while their masters are frolicking in the bedroom. But with all their talk, they try desperately to get their masters to feed them, and let them outside so they can relieve themselves. However, the dogs speak and act human only when humans are not around.
“Interviewing the Devil”
(Drama, 15-20 minutes, 2 male characters)Satan has consented to be interviewed by a man whom he hopes to change into a bad person but becomes frustrated by the man’s questions and poise. Why can’t Satan rattle or have this man fear him?
A Slave Speaks
(Drama, 1 hour, 1 male character)
A one—act play: Frustrated by what they’ve done with their lives, a slave (Jabari,) comes to life from the 1800s to speak to two African-American inmates in their cell, in the 21st century. His goal is to get them understand their ancestors sacrifice so they can appreciate the opportunities that they’ll have when the get out.
