A male boss and a female employee take a quick break together. Little does the employee know, her boss has more than just a break on his mind.

(Drama/Skit, 2 minutes, 1 male character)

A man stumbles across his words while asking his girlfriend to think about their future together, which includes marriage.

 

“A Friend Like Me”

(Comedy/Skit, 10-12 minutes 2 male characters)

While sitting in the back yard, two Desert Storm war veterans discuss their upbringing while their wives and children are in the house sleeping.

 

“Did She Just Cut One?”

(Comedy, 10 min, 2 male, 2 female characters)

After dating for three weeks, Shawnda has Dante over to her house for dinner and a movie. During the movie, Shawnda lies on the sofa with her head across Dante’s lap and farts. Both are embarrassed and must figure out how to handle this awkward situation.

When Dogs Talk

(Comedy, 50 minutes, 3 male, 1 female, and 2 characters that could be either)

A one—act play: Two male dogs discuss their daily happenings while their masters are frolicking in the bedroom. But with all their talk, they try desperately to get their masters to feed them, and let them outside so they can relieve themselves. However, the dogs speak and act human only when humans are not around.

Satan has consented to be interviewed by a man whom he hopes to change into a bad person but becomes frustrated by the man’s questions and poise. Why can’t Satan rattle or have this man fear him?

A Slave Speaks
(Drama, 1 hour, 1 male character)

A one—act play: Frustrated by what they’ve done with their lives, a slave (Jabari,) comes to life from the 1800s to speak to two African-American inmates in their cell, in the 21st century. His goal is to get them understand their ancestors sacrifice so they can appreciate the opportunities that they’ll have when the get out.
